| Following the initial release for Bush boxes, the update server for the T7655 is now serving the production release of the v1.29.0 software for Hitachi boxes. If your box is connected to the internet via the ethernet socket on the back, you may find it has already automatically installed the update (if you have that feature enabled, otherwise there is an option in the menus to manually check and update). Should your box not be connected to the internet, you may wish to perform the update via a USB memory stick - the update file is now available for download. This update fixes the infamous recording library deletion issue that cropped up in v1.28.0 - it has already been tested by several of those affected to ensure the problem was fixed, and has been pushed to all Bush branded T7655 boxes over 2 months ago, with no ill-effects. |
